Barbados Cherry

(M. Punicifolia L.)

The Barbados cherry is a large, evergreen, bushy shrub or small tree attaining up to 20 ft.  Mature trees can survive brief exposure to 28º F, however we have seen our mature sweet bob variety exposed to 24F and survive.  Varieties include Florida Sweet and Sweet Bob.
